Drug registration in Myanmar often calls for a free sale certificate, a GMP certificate, a manufacturing licence and a power of attorney for the local agent. These are issued by Indian drug regulators or prepared by the company. Each goes through the chamber, then MEA, then the embassy. Keep product names and strengths identical on every paper. A single difference in a product name can trigger a query from the importer.

Personal and Educational Files
Fewer Indians move to Myanmar for work than to the Gulf, but engineers, teachers and NGO staff do. Families with ties across the border sometimes need birth or marriage certificates for use in Myanmar. Registrar-issued certificates work best. MEA checks the officer's signature, not the content, so fix any spelling errors at the issuing office first.
If a family member was born in India but lives in Myanmar, the birth certificate must still be verified in the Indian state that issued it. Documents issued in Myanmar cannot follow this Indian route at all. Spouses who married in India should use the registrar's marriage certificate, which the state Home department can verify before MEA.
Burmese or English?
Myanmar government offices work in Burmese. Many business dealings accept English documents, but a ministry may want a Burmese translation. Ask the receiving office. For other languages our translation desk can help, and we will tell you plainly if a language needs a local translator.
Building a Clean Export Set
Before sending a commercial set, lay the papers side by side. Check that the exporter's name and address, the consignee, the invoice number, the description of goods and the quantities are the same on the invoice, packing list and certificate of origin. Check that each page is signed and stamped by the authorised signatory. Chambers and embassies return sets for small differences, and each return costs a round of courier and time.
If your buyer wants the documents urgently, tell us before you courier so we can plan the order of stages. We cannot shorten an office's own processing, but we can avoid gaps between stages.

MEA normal attestation carries no government fee. The Myanmar Embassy sets its own fee, and embassies usually charge more for commercial papers than for personal ones.
