Who issues polytechnic diplomas in Delhi? Polytechnic diplomas are issued by the Board of Technical Education, Delhi, set up in 1963-64 under the Department of Training and Technical Education. For a diploma certificate apostille in Delhi, the original BTE diploma is notarised, signed by the SDM and then apostilled by the MEA. Nursing and ITI certificates come from different bodies.

BTE Delhi was formed in 1963-64 to run diploma and post-diploma exams in engineering and other streams. It affiliates AICTE-approved diploma institutions and certifies students once results are out.
Its listed services include diploma certificates, mark sheets, transcripts, migration certificates and result verification. If your diploma has not been issued yet, ask BTE for it first. We cannot apostille a result card printout.
Some former Delhi polytechnics now run as campuses of Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU). A diploma from DSEU carries that university's signature, so we check which name appears on your certificate.

Getting a diploma certificate apostille in Delhi, step by step

Nursing and pharmacy diplomas from Delhi
GNM and ANM holders deal with the Delhi Nursing Council, an autonomous statutory body of the Government of NCT of Delhi. Its fee list includes verification of certificates for overseas registration and verification of registration for employment.
Nurses heading to the Gulf or Europe often need both the council's verification and an apostille or embassy attestation. The two are separate. The council confirms your record, while the MEA authenticates a signature on your paper.
D.Pharm holders usually carry their diploma plus a Delhi Pharmacy Council registration. Ask your employer which of these it wants apostilled.
Some overseas regulators also ask for a good-standing letter from the council. That letter is a separate document and, if the regulator wants it apostilled, it is charged as one more item.
ITI trade certificates
Delhi ITIs work under the Department of Training and Technical Education. Trade certificates are issued under NCVT (national) or SCVT (state) schemes.
Electricians, welders and fitters moving abroad often need the trade certificate apostilled or attested for a work visa. Bring the original. If you also hold an apprenticeship certificate, ask the employer whether it must be included.
Older trade certificates printed before online records began are still accepted when the seal and signature are clear. A Gulf employer may also ask for an experience letter, which follows a different attestation path.
Why the issuing body matters
An apostille confirms the signature of the officer who signed last in India. It does not confirm your marks. When a receiver abroad doubts a diploma, it writes to the issuing board or council. That is why BTE Delhi or the Nursing Council should hold a clean record in your name.

Check three things at home. First, make sure the paper is the final diploma and not a provisional or a result sheet. Second, compare the spelling of your name and your father's name with your passport. Third, look at the back. If it is laminated or covered in tape, the apostille cannot be fixed there.
Wrap the original in a plastic sleeve and send it by a tracked courier. Write your phone number on the inner envelope. We message you when it arrives and again when it leaves our office with the apostille.

Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, the UK, USA, Canada and Australia accept the apostille. For the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait or Egypt you need attestation instead, explained on our embassy attestation page. China and Germany do not accept the Indian apostille.

My BTE Delhi diploma is old and handwritten. Will it work?
Usually yes, if it is original and carries a readable seal and signature. If a receiver asks for a newer copy, BTE Delhi issues duplicates.
Do I need the Nursing Council verification and an apostille?
Often both. The council's verification goes to the overseas regulator, while the apostille is fixed on your certificate. Check your recruiter's list.
How much does a diploma certificate apostille in Delhi cost?
