The Jodhpur board behind polytechnic diplomas
The Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan conducts the annual or semester diploma examinations for polytechnic colleges in the state and declares results. Your diploma and mark sheets carry its name and an officer's signature. The board's office is on Residency Road in Jodhpur.
Government polytechnics, women's polytechnics and private institutes all fall under the same board for exams. That keeps the apostille process the same for every type of college.
The board works under the state's technical education set-up. Results and many notices appear on the Department of Technical Education website. Keep your enrolment and roll numbers safe, since a foreign assessor or employer may ask the board to confirm your result directly.
Diplomas printed decades ago may look quite different from current ones. That is normal, and an older original can still go through the process.

Three kinds of diploma, three issuers
Engineering and pharmacy diplomas
Issued through the Jodhpur board for polytechnic students. Engineering diplomas such as civil, mechanical and electrical are the most common in our files.
Nursing diplomas
GNM and ANM diplomas are linked to the Rajasthan Nursing Council. Nurses going abroad often also need their council registration apostilled.
ITI trade certificates
National Trade Certificates carry NCVT. State trade certificates carry SCVT. Gulf recruiters ask for these often, especially for electricians and welders.
If you are not sure which of the three you hold, look at the logo and the signature block at the bottom of the certificate. A photo on WhatsApp is enough for us to tell you.
Diploma certificate apostille in Rajasthan, route by route
- Delhi route: notary attestation, then the SDM in Delhi verifies the notary, then the MEA adds the apostille.
- Jaipur route: the state Education department verifies the diploma before the MEA. Use it only when the receiving body names it.
- e-Sanad: online, if the issuing board's records are connected to the MEA system. Your passport number is needed.

For most private employers in Saudi Arabia, Oman and Europe, the Delhi route is enough. Government licensing bodies abroad are the ones most likely to ask for a state stamp. When a recruiter is vague, ask for the exact wording of the requirement and share it with us.
Diploma holders from Jaipur and Udaipur
Jaipur has several government and private polytechnics, and it is also where the state Education department sits. Clients there sometimes ask about walking into the department. If a state check is needed, we arrange it; if not, the Delhi route is usually simpler.
Udaipur diploma holders often work in mining, marble and cement plants, and many later move to Oman or Saudi Arabia. Both countries accept the apostille. Courier your original from Udaipur to our Delhi office; we do not run a pickup service.
Year-wise mark sheets
The board issues mark sheets for each year or semester. A skills assessor abroad may want all of them, while an employer may want only the final diploma. Each mark sheet is a separate document with its own fee.
A pharmacy diploma holder who wants to register abroad will often be asked for the full set of mark sheets plus the registration certificate. An engineering diploma holder heading to a Gulf site usually needs only the final diploma. Planning the set first saves both money and a second courier trip.

Condition, names and Hindi text
- Send the original; photocopies are not accepted at the MEA.
- Do not laminate it, since the stamp goes on the back.
- If your name is spelled differently from the passport, an affidavit is needed.
- Hindi text may need a certified translation for the receiving country.
- Lost or damaged? Ask the Jodhpur board for a duplicate before starting.
Working in the Gulf with a Rajasthan diploma
Saudi Arabia, Oman and Bahrain accept the apostille, as do the UK, Canada and Australia. The UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and Egypt do not belong to the Convention, so a Rajasthan diploma for those countries needs MEA attestation and then embassy legalization. China and Germany do not accept the Indian apostille either.
